New student registration information for the 2010-2011 school year which began on June 28, 2010, Conditions of Registration are as follows:
- Original SKHUN and copy
- Copy of diploma is legalized
- Copy of the UN which in legalized
- Black White Photo Size 3 * 4
- Moved Rayon certificate (for those who attend school outside the city of Pekanbaru origin)
- Certificate of domicile in Pekanbaru (for the school of origin and residence outside the city of Pekanbaru)
Registration Mechanism
- Prospective Applicants - Information - Check Physical & Interests talent - Intake Form & Registration - Test B. English & Math - Registration No registration - Rank - Examination - Certification - Announcements pass / not pass.
- If Passed - Re-do list - Following MOS
- If Not Passed - Taking Form

The whole family of SMK N 2 Pekanbaru, Bereave and sorry of the death of a child from one of the staff of SMK Negeri 2. the son of Mr. Buyung darwis who have passed away, at dated June 16, 2010. and Mr. Buyung Darwis in critically condition.
